Richard Stebbins
Owner/Instructor
With 26 years of dedicated service as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, Richard brings extensive real-world experience in safety, emergency response, and emergency management. Throughout his career, he has responded to a wide range of emergency incidents, developed strong operational leadership skills, and maintained a deep commitment to public safety and preparedness. His hands-on background allows him to assess risk effectively, implement practical safety solutions, and support organizations in building safer, more resilient operations. Richard’s experience combines frontline response with a proactive approach to prevention, training, and emergency planning.
Richard currently works as a safety manager for a Rhode Island based construction company. Prior to working in the construction industry, Richard worked as a safety and survival instructor for a Connecticut based company that specializes in aircraft underwater escape training, land survival and sea survival training. Richard has travelled all over the country providing training to military units, public safety agencies and private aviation companies.
